Jerry Coben brings forty years of leadership and management experience to his consulting practice, including a 25-year career as a founding partner and a former head of Skadden's Los Angeles office.

In addition to leading Skadden to its current prominence in southern California, Jerry served on a number of the firm's national committees, including the firm's Policy Committee. Jerry also built an active corporate and securities law practice, representing public and private companies, investment banks, and board committees in a wide range of high-profile mergers and acquisitions and complex financings. During that time, he was regularly named to leading lawyer lists by the Los Angeles Daily Journal, Chambers, and Lawdragon.

In addition, Jerry is on the Board of Directors of Zenith National Insurance Corp.

In 2004, the American Jewish Committee's Los Angeles chapter named Jerry as the 25th recipient of its Learned Hand Award, which honors a member of the legal profession whose efforts in building bridges of mutual respect and understanding have promoted the cause of human rights.
